so ive been playing a game similar to "ninja" the one where you hit each others hands, but we use sticks and mock swords instead. its great fun, although no practical use in combat in terms of training.
how practical is a pole arm such as a pike or halberd at close quarters combat? i would just imagine myself being to clumsy with the thing, but im curious to try it out.
