Deviousness |
About the only thing I might suggest in future productions (and this is totally based on the trailer, so it might not be valid criticism in context of a whole movie) would be to stick with a camera style that's either more static (tripod or boom or dolly mounted) or make a conscious decision to stick with a shaky "handycam look." A good example is Hunger Games (don't know if this is playing near you yet). The camera work is consistent throughout, and even though I don't personally like it, the camera never feels obtrusive.
Anyhow - Looking forward to seeing the rest of it (with or without subtitles!).
At the very beginning I had to throw away the script along with most of the dialogue I had written, because it was just not possible with my 'posse'.
So...I solved it with music (more medieval than the trailer...) and a narrator.
There will be an English version later this year.
I'm not sure how long your film is, but if you want someone to go through and maybe "punch up" the dialogue for the English subtitles, let me know. Dialogue writing is actually one of my fortes.
Sounds like you did have some video-fun.
The dialogue and everything is done and recorded... English version just a matter of translating and recording. You could always check a new project if I get started on one..
Thanks for your proposal.
Veel succes!
